What Is It?

A Software Cue Light System. No Hardware Required.

Cue Light replaces physical cue light boxes with your existing iPads and Macs. The DSM sends standby and go signals over your local Wi-Fi network — operators see the familiar red, yellow, and green sequence on their screen.

Each device joins the same Wi-Fi network and discovers each other automatically. The DSM panel shows all connected receivers at a glance, with live status for each. No configuration files. No IP addresses to type in.

Cue Light uses OSC (Open Sound Control) for fast, reliable delivery with built-in automatic retry — so missed packets don't mean missed cues.

How It Works

1

Standby

The DSM taps Standby. The receiver's screen turns red. They acknowledge — it turns yellow on both sides.

2

Acknowledged

Yellow tells the DSM the operator has seen the standby and is ready. No radio chatter needed.

3

Go

The DSM fires Go. The receiver's screen turns green. The cue fires. The DSM taps again to reset.

Features

Over Local Wi-Fi

Everything stays on your local network. No internet connection required during a show. Works in venues with no outside signal.

DSM Control Panel

The DSM sees all connected receivers in one panel. Standby and go each device independently, or link them for a simultaneous fire.

iPad & Mac

Runs natively on iPad and Mac. Use whatever device is most convenient — mix and match across your crew.

Simultaneous Go

Link two or more receiver devices and fire them together with a single tap. Ideal for large cues that need multiple departments to go at once.

Reliable Delivery

OSC messages are automatically retried if a packet is missed. Each cue state is confirmed by an acknowledgement from the receiver before the retry stops.

No Account Required

No sign-in, no cloud account, no data collection. Devices find each other over your local network and that's it.
